About Us

The project is implemented with the support of the Caucasus Nature Fund (https://www.caucasus-naturefund.org/de/)

A workshop born in the heart of Kiziki has been serving a unique mission for nearly 20 years: to revive and preserve Georgia's distinctive cultural heritage - traditional Kizikian wool weaving.

Our products are entirely handmade, authentic, and exclusive — which is why every item at Pesvebi is one of a kind. The workshop uses locally sourced wool, which would otherwise pose an ecological threat to the environment. Our color palette is inspired by this region, particularly the landscapes of Vashlovani. Pesvebi is the only workshop in Georgia where wool yarns are dyed entirely with natural dyes — such as rubia roots, origanums, walnut husk, saperavi grape skins, chelidonium, buckthorn, and other materials ethically sourced from the surroundings of Dedoplistskaro.
