This handwoven rug is inspired by the work of Latvian artist Julius Straume, who made a significant contribution to Georgian art during his time in Tbilisi (1907–1924). Influenced by his sketches and his approach to nature, symbolism, and traditional craft, we created this piece as a bridge between cultural and natural heritage - and as a celebration of the friendship between Latvia and Georgia.
