Overview
This immersive, hands-on masterclass invites participants to explore traditional and contemporary craft-making techniques. Held in a workshop, based in Dedoplistskaro, the session will provide a deep dive into various craft disciplines, from textile arts to natural dyeing and handmade embellishments. Participants will learn practical skills while gaining insight into the cultural and historical significance of crafts in Georgia.
Masterclass Agenda:
Introduction to Traditional Craft Making
Brief history of Georgian crafts and textile traditions
Overview of materials, tools, and techniques used in various crafts
Hands-on Craft Sessions
Lunch break/Discussion on sustainable craft practices and the role of crafts in contemporary design
Final Crafting & Personal Project Completion.

Materials Provided:
All necessary craft supplies (fabric, needles, genuine leather, etc.), Protective gear (gloves, aprons)
