This enormous Maprasha is a type of traditional Georgian woven textile that once served as a storage bag. But in the modern world, it is now used as a travel bag.
Maprasha was also used to store Mzitevi - the personal belongings a young woman brought with her when she got married, traditionally woven by the bride herself.
